Photograph Two:

During the month of July, this spot, close to the intersection of the Yukon and Koyukuk River , is a nice spot to splash down for a picnic. Watch your step; some spots will suck your boots off.

Flying west in early July, this photograph shows Walker Lake and the surrounding mountains Bill had to climb. Just east of Walker Lake is the Alatna River and just west is the Reed River . The Noatak River is northwest.
